Android users have yet another reason to rejoice (after the rumors around Android 5.0). The popular streaming service Sky Go is now available to Sky customers from the Android market.
Sky Go, at the moment, is available on the Android smartphones running on 2.2 & 2.3 operating systems: HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II.
Android 4.0 not supported, yet
Android 4.0 is not yet supported and if you are planning to upgrade your device to Android 4.0 you may reconsider as after upgrade to V4.0 you will not be able to stream content through the Sky Go app until the operating system can be fully supported. As more Android 4.0 devices will hit the market, Sky Go will expand support for these devices as well.
Channels
Sky Go Android customers can watch their favorite Sky Entertainment channels on the move with Sky Go. Android customers will gain access to all 4 Sky Sports channels plus Sky Sports News and ESPN. They will alsp be able to watch all 11 Sky Movies channels, Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts 1 and Sky News.
