Android Tablets are fast becoming favourites of media companies. CNN made the Apple iPad more useful by creating an app to allow user to read, watch and listen to content. A few months ago CNN launched its Android app, but it was not as polishes as was the iPad app. CNN has updated its Android app which fixes many previous bugs and also improves the user experience many fold.

CNN describes its Android app as: Experience what happens when storytelling meets the newest technology with the new CNN App for Android – a smarter, sleeker way to experience a world of content. Share and comment on news & insights, watch live, breaking news video, and submit your own story to the world with iReport.

The version which was released yesterday makes the app compatible to Android Honeycomb 3.2. It also brings performance and stability enhancements. Among the bug fixes it:
• Fixed an issue with "Recently Viewed".
• Fixed an issue with "Saved".
• Fixed an issue with U.S. International toggle.
• Fixed an issue with video playback during erratic network connectivity.
