The iPad is about to be buried under the flood of Android tablets -- these are not those Chinese copy-cats of half-baked products, these are high-end tablets by IT majors which make the iPad look what Floppy Disk is to BluRay.

Toshiba's Thrive is now available for pre-order on Best-Buy, Amazon and other online stores for a retail price of $429 (16GB) and $579(32GB).

The arrival of these tablets mean soon there will more apps available for Android Tablets than there are for the iPad.
