Google recently celebrated the Less Paul's birthday, an American jazz and country guitarist, songwriter and inventor by releasing a Google doodle. The users who visited the Google home page that day were presented with a virtual guitar to play some musical notes.

While most of the people tried to play many notes. Manu, a 25 year old thoughtful and passionate man from India played the Indian National Anthem on the Google Doodle. The video is available at YouTube.

Manu said in his description of the video "Let this be here to inform you that I do not mean to offend anybody by playing Our national anthem over here. Nor do I mean any disrespect towards the anthem. Please take this attempt (although not the very best one) in positive manner."

The Google Doodle also showcased the power of HTML 5 and similar open source technologies.

According to a Google blog, "...the doodle was made with a combination of JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas (used in modern browsers to draw the guitar strings), CSS, Flash (for sound) and tools like the Google Font API, goo.gl and App Engine."
