Jonathan Thomas has announced the third bugfix release for Muon Suite 1.2. The Muon Suite is a set of package management utilities for Debian-based Linux distributions built on KDE technologies.

How to install Muon Suite 1.2.3
If you are running Linux Mint KDE (the latest version was released a few days ago) or Kubuntu you can add a PPA and upgrade to the latest version of the Muon Suite. Hit Alt+F2 and it will open krunner and then type terminal. That will open the terminal.

Add this PPA by running this command in the terminal:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:echidnaman/qapt
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

If you are using Linux Mint and the Muon Suite is not installed, you can install it by running this command:
sudo apt-get install muon

The bugs fixed in the version includes, several crashes found with previous versions of the Muon Suite, including a rather severe crash in the Muon Software Center caused by default repository changes in Kubuntu. Additionally, hangs experienced during long/large upgrades have been fixed, and issues with the update notifier not always notifying of updates have been fixed. All fixes have been included in the recently-released release candidate of the Muon Suite 1.3.
