The first Friday Game Fever app that gets our attention is of course this week’s most popular one: Temple Run 2.

Android users had to wait for a week after the iOS launch of this critically acclaimed game.

A sequel to one of the most downloaded (170 million) Android games, it promises dozens of minutes of jumping, gliding, sliding, and falling while escaping with a cursed idol.

There are a lot of improvements on this sequel, in almost every aspect of the game.

The settings now have a quality bar so you can change the graphics to your device’s capabilities, and the overall UI is improved visually and functionally.

The downside is that there is no sensitivity setting, and because of that, on some devices the tilting is too sensitive. Another downside is the lack of the exit button in the game, so you just press the home button to get out of it, and then just close it with the Android’s multitasking capabilities or just leave it there and get back to it.

But leaving these problems aside, Temple Run 2 is a really polished game. The graphics have recieved the HD treatment, with clear, crisp textures and buttery smooth experience. These improvement, despite the same/familiar gameplay, along with the new enviroments and new obstacles to surpass, make it a really enjoyable experience.

Overall, Temple Run 2 is a really enjoyable experience, bringing a lot more than its predecessor, forgiving the small normal hiccups of an initial version. Since it’s free, you have no reason not to install it right now.
