Samsung has really gone far ahead in the Android Smartphone Segment and left manufacturers such as HTC struggling. Even though HTC produced some stunning phones in 2012, its financial condition has been on a continuous decline over the past year. After barely managing to remain profitable HTC is planning to change it fortune in the first half of 2013.
There have been rumours sourced from Focus Taiwan, that HTC is working on a new device presently known as HTC M7. This phone will be HTC’s next flagship device and the Taiwanese company is working hard to get enough material from its semiconductor and casing suppliers to build 4 to 5 million HTC M7s in the first quarter of next year.
There has been no details about the configuration of the device, but it will surely boast of top of the line specs when it is launched. We can assume that the best Qualcomm processor and the latest 1080p Super LCD3 display will feature on HTC M7 along with latest version of Android.
We hope that HTC does some better job with the battery that will power the flagship device. Recent devices from HTC flattering themselves with 180p Super LCD3 phones turned out to be power hungry with very poor battery life. If HTC needs to get back in the completion it needs to eliminate all reasons for complaints and work towards perfection.
