A new version of Ubuntu customization and tweaking tool, Ubuntu Tweak is out. This is the second release after the developer had announced his plans to abandon the development of Ubuntu Tweak. However, with awesome support from other users, he restored the development of this app. This version packs some new features, along with bug fixes and comes with full support for recently released Ubuntu 12.10.
The new verions brings some new features as well as removes some old ones which are not relevent anymore. The developer writes in his blog post:
In this version, I also removed some features that don’t work since Ubuntu 12.10, like Desktop Recovery (because it only works with Gconf) and Shortcuts. You can still set arbitrary commands with shortcuts through CCSM.
It now also supports new features introduced in Ubuntu 12.10 such as "Web Apps Integration".
If you don’t need the Web Apps feature in Ubuntu 12.10, you can turn it off easily.
Another notable and useful addition is that now users will see a green icon that indicate if an app is installed.

You will always get the latest and coolest apps from Apps in Ubuntu Tweak, currently I will make approval for these apps.
Among other new features, Love Wallpaper HD is a new tweak that allows you to download random wallpapers suited for your screen from the Internet. Also, you can now change themes, fonts and much more in Ubuntu 12.10. The Apps center has been updated and allows the user an easy way to install apps, some of which are not found in Ubuntu Software Center.
You can install Ubuntu Tweak by using this link (provided by the developer) or you can use the PPA.
