The blockbuster Android Tablet, Nexus 7 from Google has added another jewel to its crown. Nexus 7 by Asus has won the T3 Gadget Awards for “Tablet of the Year” as well as the “Gadget of the Year.

The Google Nexus 7 has emerged as a powerful yet affordable gadget which truly means just business. The tablet market was taken by storm with the release of Nexus 7 featuring Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor and a 7” 1280x800 brilliant display at a surprising price point of $199. The device gave the iPad a tough competition this year with a huge portfolio of 650,000 apps and a great hardware at comparatively very low price.

The Nexus 7 faced strong competition from Samsung Galaxy S3 (“Phone of the Year”) and PS Vita (“Gaming Gadget of the Year”), but Nexus 7 at last took the crown for “Gadget of the Year”.
