KDE

Following footsteps of Gnome and Unity to make the desktop more online integrated, KDE developers are working on integrating your web accounts to your desktop. Currently the features are in the design phase and one may not expect it to release soon.

The web accounts currently supported are Google, Facebook, ownCloud and runnersID. Apps that use Akonadi and Telepathy are supported with web accounts. So, once you add an account, you may use it for services like chat, email etc without configuring each.

The above screenshot shows its current status. The developers are also planning to support other services like Twitter, Identi.ca etc.
