Steam is coming soon for Linux, and Valve is making sure that the Linux gaming experience is the best seen ever. Currently, we can expect some unstable Steam client to arrive soon. If you would like to be the first to experience Steam on Linux, you can opt to be a beta tester for Valve.

All you need to do is send an e-mail to the Valve Linux Team(valvelinuxteam@valvesoftware.com) expressing your interest. As per a comment posted on Valve Linux Blog:

“At this time, we are collecting interested persons for possible inclusion in an external beta in the future. If you have expressed interest in a comment or email, you’re on that list; nothing more is needed.”

Steam Beta testing will arrive soon, as a new entry of software “Steam Linux Beta” has recently been added in Steam Database.
