The openSUSE team has announced the release of much awaited version 12.2 which brings many desired improvement.

Jos Poortvliet, community manager of openSUSE writes, "The latest release of the world’s most powerful and flexible Linux Distribution brings you speed-ups across the board with a faster storage layer in Linux 3.4 and accelerated functions in glibc and Qt, giving a more fluid and responsive desktop."

In addition to many other features, which I am covering in my review which will be published soon, one of the most important features is the use of GRUB2.

You can go ahead and download openSUSE 12.2 from this link.
