mageia

The first alpha of Mageia scheduled to be released on 4th of September has been delayed. The final date of the release hasn't been announced yet. The reasons are some outstanding bugs that are blocking the release.

Earlier, Fedora 18 was delayed by two weeks by blocking bugs. While Fedora and Mageia team are squashing bugs and hoping for a release soon, Ubuntu developers are heading to release the first beta of Ubuntu Quantal soon.

Mageia is a fork of Mandriva which is ganing popularity and is now on 2nd spot on Distrowatch.
