Open-source ebook manager and reader Calibre has been updated with support for a better image viewer. The version 0.8.67 also supports mathematical operations that will make reading maths formulas easier.

This will be beneficial if users would like to download a page or ebook from the Internet and read it in Calibre. Also, Calibre supports complex ebooks too, and displaying large images, pictures and maps has become easier.

You can install the latest Calibre in your Ubuntu PC by typing the following commands in terminal. An older version of Calibre is also available in Ubuntu Software Center.,

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/calibre
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install calibre
