KDE developer Jonathan Thomas has announced the release of Muon Suite 1.4.0. This is a KDE application for simple and easy package management in Debian-KDE based distros, similar to Software Center available in Ubuntu. Users will be able to experience some of the awesome features that will bring a major change of Moun Suite in future.Changelogs of this release:

  • An enhanced Moun Discover Technology Preview for better software recommendations
  • Progress view added that allows users to have an eagle eye view of all running tasks.
  • Moun frontends use KDE proxy.
  • Applications can be sorted by Name, Buzz, Rating and Search Relevency.
  • Ratings are cached locally.
  • Support for a large number of languages.

The latest version is available at QApt PPA. You can also install this version from Quantal repositories.
