If you are using KDE 4.8, you may soon get a major update. KDE has released a new update, KDE 4.8.5 mainly focused on bug fixes and language translations. As this is a bug fix update, it will be a smooth upgradation for all.

Users can expect better performance in overall KDE desktop. Dolphin and the Kontact suite has been drastically improved. Full language support for over 55 languages are available.

Binary packages are available from here. Kubuntu users can also update by adding Kubuntu updates PPA.
