Webapps are the newest innovation put forward by Canonical. These apps will allow you to bridge the gap between desktop apps and web services. You can install Webapps to integrate your favourite Internet sites right on your desktop and even control them without opening your browser. For example, you will get Facebook messages as desktop notifications, control track playing at Last.FM from the sound menu, get alerts of an email arrival in your Gmail account and more.
We have covered earlier how to install WebApps in Ubuntu Precise. Now, the Canonical team is looking forward for your experience with them, so it is the right time to give your valuable feedback. The webapps team has compiled some manual test cases. You just need to run the test cases in your PC or laptop and give the feedback of your experience. If you are on Precise, head over to Webapps Precise testing, and if you are on Quantal, go to this link for Quantal webapps testing.
In case you are in doubt as what “call for testing” programs are, here is a nice page that will answer all your questions.
