Oracle has released a new version of the popular Java IDE, NetBeans. The new version, NetBeans 7.2, comes with several improvements in performance and also expanded support. Some of the key changes are given below.

  • Native Integration with FindBugs which will help developers in reducing bugs and development cost and time overall.
  • The IDE starts faster. The UI is more responsive and background tasks take place smoothly.
  • Interoperability with the early access release of JavaFX Scene Builderallows for opening and visual editing of FXML files with Java FX Scene Builder.

NetBeans is an free and open-source IDE available in Mac, Windows and Linux platforms. It helps developers to rapidly create enterprise, web and mobile applications in Java, PHP and C/C++.
