The Linux Mint Team has released Linux Mint 13 “Maya” XFCE edition. This edition is based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and is supported with security updates for a period of five years. Some of the key changes in this release are:

  • XFCE 4.10: Its the latest stable version of XFCE desktop and features online documentation, Application finder, Actions plugin, MIME type editor, single click operations and more.
  • This version also include mintMenu and MATE applets and the MDM display manager. Mint 13 also features several artwork improvements including a new set of beautiful wallpapers. The default search engine is Yahoo!
