Jeff Hoogland, creator of Bodhi Linux, blogged about the release of first release candidate of Bodhi Linux 2.0.0. The final stable release is scheduled to be released soon by the end of this month. This release contains almost all the apps and functionality that will be present in the final release.
The AppCenter which is currently under development is not included in this release candidate. Bodhi Linux is a fast, lightweight distro featuring the Enlightenment desktop environment. It is based on Ubuntu and uses the debian package manager for software installation and updates. Currently Bodhi Linux is available in i386 and arm platforms.
