If you are a developer and need a perfect laptop for you, here is a nice offer from Dell.

Dell's Project Sputnik kicked off last may in order to create an ultimate developer laptop. Under Sputnik Beta Cosmonaut Program, a limited number of developers will be given an oppurtunity to beta test a discounted version of Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook. These developers will be asked to install Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on their laptops and test their developing needs on it.

If you are interested and want to grab Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook, you can apply for test pilot program, from this link.

Dell currently sells Ultrabook with Windows 7 preinstalled. It is hoped through this program it wishes to test it with Ubuntu and sell it for broader audience.
