The Document Foundation released second release candidate of LibreOffice 3.5.5. This release features a lot of new bug-fixes, including one which caused the office suite to crash when opening RTF files. This is a development release and not meant for ideal home and enterprise usage.
LibreOffice 3.5 is scheduled to be release soon. A splash-screen contest has been started to attract art work volunteers take interest in this open-source project.
LibreOffice 3.5 introduces a different kind of encryption that promises to keep your documents more secure. Also there is improved ODF support and lots of changes in LibreOffice Calc and impress.
