It could be just me but I find the default Canteral font to be not as elegant as Gnome Shell is. There are other fonts that you can play with and choose the one that you like the best. I prefer Droid font which makes the entire desktop look better.

Unfortunately, the font viewer doesn't come pre-installed so you need to open Yumex and install gnome font viewer. This tool will allow you to install/enable fonts of your choice. Once the tool in installed you can download the freely available Droid fonts from here.

Once the font is downloaded and install it by clicking on it. Simple and easy. Now open the Advanced Settings and from the Fonts tab select the Droid Font instead of the default Canteral font. Just don't change the monospace font.

Now, your Fedora will be looking slicker and elegance.

Once the font is installed we can now look for more customization of Fedora 17.
