Aaron Seigo, the founder of KDE powered Vivaldi tablet, has announced that they have doubled the internal storage of Vivaldi to 8GB, earlier the RAM was doubled to 1GB. So, all this delay is turning out to be good for the customers.

If you have pre-ordered the tablet there is good news for you, purchase orders for the first production runs of devices have gone in and your tablet will arrive with all these hardware upgrades.

Aaron says, "This is truly a 'point of no return' for the project, and that is very, very satisfying to have reached. We have some of the typical right-to-the-wire engineering work to do on the software side, but then we'll be pulling all the triggers and emails will pour forth and sales will open."

Make·Play·Live (the official site for Vivaldi) has been signing letters of understanding with various companies as part of an effort to build a partner network . This will allow the company to provide services and support around Vivaldi, the Add-Ons App and future efforts that would be impossible to do otherwise.
