Lenovo is all set to unveil a tablet this afternoon. The Chinese manufacturer took to its Twitter account Saturday to tweet out a teaser of what is likely a new tablet.
With no name, no specs, nothing about the new product but the picture you see above, the Chinese firm says it has a secret that it is going to reveal on Sunday at 1PM EST. The picture, however, does show the corner of the tablet which goes on to reveal plenty of bezel and a front-facing camera.
Lenovo, one of the largest handset manufacturers in China, recently acquired Motorola from Google for $2.91 billion. It could be an Android tablet. It could be a Windows tablet. We are just speculating. It could be something else too. It’s just a matter of few hours and we will know what Lenovo has in store for us this Sunday. Stay tuned!
[UPDATE] As promised, Lenovo just announced the next-generation of the Yoga Tablet line at MWC. The new 10.1-inch Lenovo Yoga Tablet HD+ comes with a much more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with a 1920×1080 screen (compared to the previous generation’s 1280 x 800).
Other specs include up to 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP camera with wide-angle lens, and a 9,000 mAh battery pack which is claimed to last for up to 18 hours on a single charge. It also features Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS which should get updated to KitKat.
