CyanogenMod Source Code for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 now available

CyanogenMod is going strong, the team has brought support to all major flagship devices of 2013 from different manufacturers. Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, LG G2, Moto X and Nexus 5 makes the list of supported devices. You might have noticed Samsung Galaxy Note 3 missing from the list; well, not anymore, a recent post on the official Google+ page of CyanogenMod says that CyanogenMod source code for Note 3 is now available for download, nightlies are coming soon.

The source codes of various models of Galaxy Note 3, including international version, T-mobile and Sprint models are available on GitGub. Unfortunately due to AT&T and Verizon’s policy of having locked bootloaders, Note 3 models from these two carriers are not officially supported by CyanogenMod. However, ROMs are under construction for those devices too.

The source codes will allow expert ROM makers to build their own ROM, but other users will have to wait for the nightly builds. Fully built CyanogenMod ROMs (most probably CM 11 based on Android KitKat) are expected to hit the download page sometime next week.
