Wind River delivers customised Android software platform for Clarion AX1

Wind River is providing a customised Android software platform and software integration services to power the new AX1 automotive in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) device from Clarion Malaysia.

In addition to more traditional IVI features such as AM/FM radio, GPS navigation and Bluetooth streaming, the Android-based Clarion AX1 includes leading-edge features such as Wi-Fi connectivity and portable hotspot/tethering, app store access to buy and download music, compatibility with Android smartphones/tablets, audio/video playback via USB and SD input, full HD to enjoy videos in 1080p, 6.5″ capacitive multi-touch display and rear camera input capability.
