In the past week, there have been several rumours and leaks around Motorola Moto G, though most of them got overshadowed by the Nexus 5 hype. Since Google’s flagship Android smartphone launch is over, the world can focus on Motorola’s Moto G which will be announced on November 13.
Motorola has setup a teaser page which features the word ‘moto g’, #MotoG hashtag and November 13 in several languages. There is also a link to ‘Sign Up for the live online announcement.’ Motorola is set to stream the launch event online for everyone to have first look at Moto G.
There is no other info on the site which can help us guess what Moto G is about. There is an animated image which shows earth which is changing in appearance with each rotation, probably showcasing different regions of the world with Motorola’s ‘M’ in the centre. The language of the date is changing with the changing earth. We deduce that the Moto G is going to have a simultaneous release globally.
Moto G is rumoured to be low cost version of the Moto X. The device was previously known as Moto DVX. The expected hardware specifications include a 4.5 inch 720p display, 1.2 Ghz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8GB Of internal storage, 5MP shooter, 1.3MP front facing camera for video calling, dual SIM options and run Android 4.3.
