Google announces Nexus 5, available right away, ships on 5th

Google has finally launched its Nexus 5 smartphone. The good news is that it’s available immediately. The shipping will start on November 5th.

With this Google also announced its next version of Android – 4.4 aka KitKat. Google has started to roll out 4.4 update to users.

Nexus 5 is a 4.95-inch device with an impressive 1920×1080 display at 445 ppi. The screen is full HD IPS screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

16GB model is available for $349 whereas 32GB model is available for $399 in black and white colors.

Google claims that with 2,300 mAH battery the phone offers over 17 hours of talk time. It has built-in wireless charger and the best thing is that it’s LTE unlike Nexus 4.

It carries forward the legacy of other Nexus devices and doesn’t come with an SD cards slot.
