Nexus 7 II is perhaps one of the most awaited devices of this year, with rumours and leaks surfacing on the internet every other day. It seems that the internet public won’t stop speculating until there is an official release or confirmation from Google. In keeping with the trend of daily leaks, this time, another picture surfaced, supposedly listing the features of the new Nexus 7 II.
Among the list of features, it seems that this version of the Nexus will feature Wireless charging. Quite understandable, since most of the big shot manufacturers are moving in that direction. Along with this new addition, there will also be the inclusion of a SlimPort that will allow users to output at HD resolutions of 1080p. For the uninitiated, SlimPort is a technology through which, data, display and charging can be achieved using the same microUSB port, thus saving a lot on port spaces.
Apart from the special features, the leak also confirms the rumours and leaks regarding the specification of the Nexus which is now confirmed to carry a 1.5GHz quad core processor, dual cameras, Android 4.3 etc. Google has an event scheduled for 24th July, where the Nexus might make an appearance.
