Motorola DROID ULTRA Appears On The Company Site

Motorola has been quiet since a long time, while Samsung, Sony and HTC have been busy launching their flagship devices with lot of fanfare. However, suddenly a page has surfaced on the Motorola official website that has confirmed the existence of the ULTRA line of phones.

Since the page seems to be a work in progress, no official picture is present, though a small para titled “Think Thin” has been put up there. What can be gathered from the information present on the site is that the phone will focus on a thinner form-factor and a wide range of colours, including black, white and red. Motorola has affection for Kevlar and they are trying to make their phones bullet proof again, evident from mentions about DuPont Kevlar body with a line stating “you can be even thinner and still be tough as steel.”

Thanks to @evleaks we have come to know that Motorola and Verizon has partnered up to launch a line of Motorola phones, the continuation of their Droid family. The naming scheme seemed to be similar to those of last year’s RAZR HD and RAZR M. Though Moto still plans to release the usual MAXX, regular and the much smaller M editions, as with other in its line, with this phone too.
