A certain user by the named zhuowei has managed to check the insides of the device and some of the code hinted about a market place known as ‘Boutique’ for Glass applications.
There’s more than that, a deeper look in the code revealed that Boutique would sync Glassware and APKs. If you noticed, APK is an extension for android applications which are mostly contributed by third party developers so considering the existence of the word in regard to Glass it’s likely that there might a Glass SDK for third party developers. The feature unfortunately has been removed for public release of the update on a later date so it’s only a matter time before we know more about the Boutique store.
Other noteworthy features discovered after further looking into the device were a new lock screen making use of a swiping pattern, a video player and a new volume slider function. Google is leaving no stone unturned in regard to the features of Glass and it’s only gonna get better after the public release of the device.
