Samsung is preparing to launcg the third generation of its Galaxy Tab line of tablets. Reports suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 devices will go on sale to the customers in US from July 7.
There will be three device in the Galaxy Tab line with Samsung Galaxy 10.1 being the flagship device with a 10 inch screen which has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The device will be running Android 4.2 and powered by 1.6GHz dual core Intel Atom processor. In terms of memory it will contain 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded through microSD slot. It is priced at $399.
The second in line is the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 which features a 0.29 inch casing covered with 8 inch display having 1280x800pixels resoltuion. The devices will be running Android 4.2 and is powered by Samsungs own dual core Exynos Processor clocked at 1.5Ghz. It will contain 1.5GB RAM along with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable through microSD slot. The device will be available for$299.
The smallest offering is the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with a 7 inch LCD screen having poor resoltuion of 1024×600 pixels. It will be running rather old Android 4.1 and will be powered by Marvell dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will contain moderate 1GB RAM but only 8GB of internal storage, thankfully it can be expanded though microSD slot. The cheapest Galaxy Tab will be priced at $199.
