Hiring Linux Trainee Journalists From India

Job: Trainee Journalist
Position Type: Work from home/Part-time
Location: preferably Indian sub-continent

Job Description:
We are looking for work-from-home news reporters to file latest news about Android, Linux and other Open Source projects.

We are looking for 3 positions:
Ubuntu Reporter — to cover Ubuntu daily
Android Reporter — to cover everything hot happening in Android world
Gnome Reporter — to cover latest and greatest from Gnome barn
KDE Reporter — to bring latest news for KDE world

Our ideal candidates will be engineering students who do understand open source technologies and want to make some pocket money.

Trainees don’t have to file lengthy articles, what we are looking for are crisp, quick breaking news items as they happen. The minimum word count is 200 (could be longer (but not shorter) depending on the story.

We pay per news-item so there is no limitation on how many stories you should file every day. However we are looking at an average 5-10 stories per day.

This is a fun job. If you keep an eye on Linux and Open Source technologies all it takes is to file a quick 200 word story and post on the site.

All the payment will be made through PayPal so applicant must have an active paypal account. Your stories will not be edited or proof-read so we are expecting good English/Grammar and error free posting.
