Google Android Event For 29th October Cancelled

The Google Android event we were eagerly waiting for has been officially cancelled. The event was scheduled for Monday 29th October in New York, where several product launches from google were expected. The reason cited for this change is poor weather condition in the area.

Google has still not issues any reschedule plans; they are waiting for storm to pass like everyone else.

We are canceling our Monday morning event in New York due to Hurricane Sandy. We will let you know our plans as soon as we know more.

New York City Governor on Friday issued a state of emergency for the surrounding area based on the incoming Hurricane Sandy. Google’s event was going to take place right on a waterfront pier. Staying safe should be top priority always.
